I knows… I haven’t been writing much. With the dawn of Twitter, Facebook 2.1, and purchase of my motorcycle, I haven’t had the time to really blog.
I’m going to try to get back into this though… In the meantime enjoy this stock photo of my bike

My lotus plant is growing out of control! Initially I was pretty worried that I was going to fail miserably, and kill it; however, it is a lot more simple to care for than I had imagined. It isn’t budding or anything yet, but I’m amazed by how much it grows every day.
On a quick side note, I’ve also been amazed at how fast the Play Cloths line has been blossoming. It’s at least tripled in size since the start of February… so if you haven’t taken a look in a while, I recommend it. There are a ton of new shirts and goodies.
UGK for life… no, for real. If you haven’t heard this album, you should take a break and locate yourself a copy. Wait… so yeah, on Slim Thug’s new album and on the new Method Man & Redman album too! Pimp C lives! Not like legends ever really die though.
In case you haven’t heard the single, City Lights is a real banger. I heard this on HipHopNation the other day, and I went nuts trying to find the mp3… which I finally did on DatPiff.com. The mixtape was called “All The Way To The Bank” (actually a pretty decent tape). Although, it is still a mix, not the album version… it’s cut a little short… still way hot…
Speaking of HipHopNation, I was listening in tonight. Rick Ross had a sit with DJ Envy, plugging his new album “Deeper Than Rap.” I’m usually not much for listening to talk radio, but this was definitely good shit here. Rick Ross was hilarious… I’m not going to get into it, I’m sure tomorrow it’ll blow up into the next big scene in the Rick Ross 50 Cent fued. If you, like me, can’t stand 50 Cent, you definitely would have appreciated this shit. I haven’t located myself a leak of the new album yet, but I’m really looking forward to it…
So, DJ Khaled called in for a short spot on the radio interview… saying something about a new album, “Victory.” I dunno what that’s all about. I can’t find anything on it yet, but you can’t really go wrong with a DJ Khaled studio album…
It’s that time of the year again… Time to get outside and move. I’m pretty much over the cold season. Easter gift to myself, I finally copped myself a pair of the Air Pegasus 89’s. I switched it up last minute though, I went with the red ones over the blue. I was waiting for sneakerhead to re-up in my size, which finally happend… not to mention a price drop!
Nectar of the Gods… Yes, it’s true. After all these years of offering the worst “healthy” beverage on the market, Vitamin Water finally got it right. Instead of Kool Aid with a few vitamins, Vitamin Water 10 is the real deal. It’s actually vitamins and water. Don’t get me wrong it’s still delicious… just 25 calories a bottle… instead of 200… which was like the sugar content from 1.5 redbulls. I stocked up hardcare on these the other day. Only a buck a piece at Wal-Mart, homes.
It was my birthday, and this was one of my favorite presents. This is easily the best collection of South Park episodes, packed into a sweet little set. Just evilly hilarious. Gotta love that adorable little bigot.
Ethereal nectar. I’ve been living on G2 all week, and it’s fantastic. Way better than regular Gatorade… Trust me.
I decided to opt for the satellite/hd radio deck instead of the cd player. I dunno… I don’t listen to the radio all that much anymore. I felt the need to broaden my horizons. So I was talking to the guy at Best Buy, and I was like so how much would it cost to just have you guys set it up for me? You know, install the deck, the tuner, etc… Trust me, you don’t want to know what he said. I went home, bought one of these little gems and a new capacitor, and I’m doing this installation Fred Coast Customs.
I couldn’t not post these… They hit too close to home. Me news? I’ve been looking into buying a bike, catching up on some 30 Rock, and shoe shopping when I’ve got some free time to piss away. In my art news, I have been reevaluating both my complete and incomplete works. Instead of selling them outright, I’ve been working on presentation. I’m going to work on getting my pieces into galleries instead of straight sales. In my spare-spare time, I’m working on developing large digital prints of some of my favorite pieces. Yes, my head is really that big. Below is a work in progress of one of the prints.

Ode to the classics, a random rant by Fred.
Is anyone else getting tired of massive gradients? I mean, it seems like an unspoken standard these days for interfaces to use overwhelming gradients and thick shading… I’m a little over it. I feel that it’s almost time for clean simple interfaces to make their glorious comeback. Even to this day I still use the Windows Classic interface. You can’t go wrong with a clean solid color interface. And, why is it that icons are replacing words everywhere? I can see in mobile applications where icons can take up less space, and they provide for quick user recognition, but really… I’m ready for a resurgence of minimalism.
